Myco Wellbeing B.V. ("myco," "we," "us," or "our") is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. We operate mycowellbeing.com and all related services, including the myco companion app, to provide you with a curated shopping and wellness experience (the "Services"). The Services are powered by Shopify.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services, or when you participate in a myco journey program via the companion app. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

We collect personal information when you interact with our store, website, or companion app. Depending on how you use the Services, this may include:

We may anonymize app-generated data for internal research and product development purposes. Once anonymized, this data is no longer personally identifiable and cannot be linked back to you. It may be used to improve understanding of the benefits of our programs and will not be shared in any identifiable form.

- Directly from you, when you create an account, make a purchase, use the companion app, or contact us
- Automatically through the Services, via cookies and similar tracking technologies

Relationship with Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services. Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (CAPI) on our website. These tools allow us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand how visitors interact with the Services, and show relevant ads to you on Facebook and Instagram. Data collected may include your IP address, browser information, pages visited, and actions taken (such as adding a product to cart or completing a purchase). This data is transmitted to Meta both via your browser (Pixel) and directly from our servers (CAPI) to improve accuracy. Meta may use this information in accordance with its own Data Policy. You can manage your ad preferences via your Facebook or Instagram account settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising at Your Online Choices.
Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo to manage our email and SMS marketing. When you make a purchase, create an account, or sign up for our newsletter, your contact details and purchase history are stored in Klaviyo and used to send you relevant communications and personalized offers. Klaviyo may also track interactions with our emails (such as opens and clicks) and connect this data to your profile. Klaviyo processes this data on our behalf and in accordance with GDPR. Children's Data
Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data about a minor, please contact us at info@mycowellbeing.com and we will delete it promptly.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Our standard retention period is 24 months, after which data is securely deleted or anonymized unless legal obligations require a longer period.

Please redact your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone), passport number, and BSN (citizen service number) before sending. We will respond within four weeks.
You can manage marketing preferences at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications related to your account or orders.
International Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process your personal information in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms to ensure your data remains protected.
